He said the SCJC serves an average of 200 students per year, more than half of those served through Johnson County high schools, enrolled in concurrent programs, with the remainder of those enrolled in other programs, including the flagship Certified Nursing Assistant program.

Dr. Tribley talked about the focus of SCJC in the coming year.

The degree programs are health sciences, business, and general studies; while certificates can be earned for Emergency Medical Tech, Certified Nursing Assistant, substitute teaching, and high school equivalency.

Tribley told the council that in this, his third year at the college, they will be focusing on Sheridan College in Johnson County.
