Thursday at the Jo Co Fair: Beef, Poultry, Rodeo Events

Beef and Poultry will take center stage at the Johnson County Fair on Thursday, with the beef show in the morning and poultry show in the afternoon.

Rodeo events will begin in earnest with the All-County Roping; barrel racing and pole bending slack; ladies’ calf roping, team roping slack, and steer roping,

The day ends with a movie in the show ring at 8:30 in the evening.

Friday will feature rodeo events, but fair events are the Pie Contest, YES Awards, and the 4-H/FFA Round Robin.

Rodeo events will include the Youth Rodeo and timed event rodeo slack.

The annual Dance in the Park featuring the Terry Waugh Band will be Friday evening at 8:30 in Prosinski Park downtown.

Sheridan Media will have fair and rodeo results when released.
