U.S. Senator John Barrasso had harsh words Wednesday for the Biden Administration for making an agreement with Germany that clears the way for the final construction of Russia’s Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. Senator Barrasso made the following remarks at a Senate Committee on Foreign Relations hearing with the Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland.

Senator Barrasso said the deal doubles Europe’s reliance on Russian energy.

Barrasso said Congress is the only one really willing to impose meaningful costs on Russian malign projects and to support our allies facing Russian aggression and it is clear that Congress and the American people can’t count on the administration to do the right thing.

Didn’t you get the memo, John?
“I think we will end up having an extraordinary relationship,” Trump said, sitting beside Putin inside the Finnish presidential palace. “Getting along with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing.”

You don’t live in WY…what is your voyeur obsession with our politics. Or you just like shooting blanks from the liberal squirrel nest you live in? So Biden says is ok for a pipeline to benefit Germany and promote NATO reliance on an enemy….but NOT OK for a pipeline from Canada, that would benefit Canada and the US. Makes perfect ACO sense. Got it. Fred-perhaps someone can explain to you any points of this you may not understand.

Using your premise, the Keystone Pipeline would not go through Wyoming, so why do you have this fixation about it? You have a fetish for pipelines? Also, railroads and trucks are transporting this crude right now, and those jobs would be lost if we built a pipeline that will have about 50-100 jobs when it’s finished.
Keystone has already leaked at least 388,000 gallons of crude, in North Dakota. You want this mess going through your backyard?
Just hang a picture of a pipeline on your wall to satisfy your needs.

I thought the exact thing same thing, when I wasted 5 minutes of my time answering you.
Did you get a pipeline poster with valves and things you have the fixation on?

You didn’t even get the quote correct, which you stole from Mark Twain. What are you, a vegetable?
