Sheridan County Sheriff on Partial Fire Ban

The county-wide partial fire restriction was a topic of discussion by Sheridan County Sheriff Allen Thompson and Undersheriff Levi Dominguez as they were guests on our talk show Public Pulse Thursday.

They wanted to remind the public of the restriction and ask for added precaution in these dry conditions.

Sheriff Thompson asked residentsto use a spark-arrestor on backyard fire pits and remember that personal fireworks will not be allowed this year, and to be aware that even with a green lawn, it is still extremely dry.

Dominguez also asked residents to stay aware of Red Flag Days.
