Budget Season

The Sheridan City Council hosted a budget meeting this week where each department head provided the budget numbers for their individual department. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

City of Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger said the budget presentation meeting was the culmination of a series of budget meetings that have been held to craft the City’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year that begins on July 1. Bridger talked about how the budget compares to last year’s and if the direct distribution from the Wyoming Legislature affected the budgeting process.

The total overall budget in the amount of $55.4 million will be adopted by the City Council in the form of a resolution during a meeting next month.
