County Commission OKs Hiring of Custodian

Johnson County’s Commissioners have approved lifting the hiring freeze for Building Facilities Manager David Eads to hire a new employee to replace one that he has lost.

He made the request of the commissioners at their recent meeting.

The commission voted to lift the hiring freeze to hire a new custodian for the judicial center for $13.50 an hour and to bring the wages of the two existing custodians up to the same level of $13.50 an hour.
