County to Award Contract for Airport Parking Project

The Sheridan County Commission, at their regular meeting Tuesday, will consider the Notice of Award and Contract Agreement for the Sheridan County Airport Long-Term Parking Lot Project.

At an earlier meeting, Airport Manager John Stopka said the project will be a federal/state/local project with $1 million coming from the federal government (FAA), $40,000 from the state, and nearly $27,000 coming from the county.

The new lot will add 96 parking spots, and also provide a sidewalk tied into the current parking lot and to the terminal building.

The meeting will get underway Tuesday morning beginning at 9am in the Second Floor Board Room, #220, in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.
