Johnson County Lifts Hiring Freeze for Road & Bridge

Johnson County’s Commissioners discussed lifting the county-wide hiring freeze for County Road & Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer to hire a new employee.

Pehringer made the request of the commissioners at their recent meeting, saying he has a position he needs to fill.

According to the county website, they are searching for a full-time equipment operator/truck driver in Buffalo.

The commissioners voted to lift the hiring freeze and allow Pehringer to fill the position.
