Aaron PalmerThe weekly briefings by the Johnson County COVID-19 Emergency Operations Center will come to a close with next week’s briefing, according to Johnson County Public Health Emergency Response Coordinator Robin King.
King discussed the change at Tuesday’s EOC briefing.
King said if there are any updates that need to go out to the public, the EOC will be sure to coordinate a briefing to report the information.
King also said the state is reporting that Johnson County has given 2,103 first doses and 1,183 second doses of the Moderna vaccine.
There are currently two active COVID-positive cases in the county that are expected to come off the list tonight.
King also wanted to remind the public that there are more openings for vaccinations, and those interested can call Public Health to set up an appointment for a vaccination.
