Two Appointed to Weed & Pest District

At their regular Tuesday meeting, the Sheridan County Commission voted to appoint two people to the County Weed & Pest Control District.

Appointed to a 4-year term from January 1st, 2021 to January 1st, 2025 was Jeremy Zumberge for Area #2, and to a 4-year term from January 1st, 2021 to January 1st, 2025 was J.D. Hill for Area #5.

Also approved by the commission was an amendment to the lease agreement between the county and the University of Wyoming for the Sheridan business incubator, Impact 307.

The amendment was for the term of the agreement, which will now run from January 3rd, 2021 through January 2nd, 2022.

According to uwyo.edu, IMPACT 307, with business incubators in Casper, Laramie and Sheridan, is a business development program of the University of Wyoming.

It is administered by UW’s Office of Research and Economic Development.
