Wyoming Game and Fish Department encourage taking Hunter Safety course early in year

The Wyoming Game and Fish department is encouraging future hunters to take the Hunter Education Course early in the year.
To ensure the safety of participants and in compliance to Center for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, the Game and Fish has adapted the Hunter Education Courses to fill the needs of many potential hunters.
Potential students can access a portion of the Hunter Education Courses online. The online class will allow the completion of the classroom portion of the course. Students will then sign up for a field portion provided by one of the many volunteer instructors.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s public Pulse, Game and Fish Public Information Specialist Christina Schmidt advised potential students to get into the courses as soon as possible, allowing plenty of time for completion of the course before hunting season preparations begin, which will limit the time of volunteer instructors.
Traditional classroom courses are still available, but due to CDC guidelines, seating is limited. For more information on both traditional and online Hunter Education Courses, visit the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Education webpage located here.
