Sheridan County Gives Appraisers Certificates

Sheridan County’s Commissioners gave out the state’s certificates to the county’s property tax appraisers during their recent meeting.

The certificates, given by the Wyoming Department of Revenue, are for both permanent and temporary certification, depending on the coursework completed by the individual.

Earning permanent certification were Paul Fall, Rita Glantz, E’lyn Martini, Steve Kennedy, Mark Peacock, and Sandra Wood.

Commissioner Christi Haswell also gave out temporary certifications.

Wyoming law specifies all persons responsible for determining value for property assessment to be certified by the state as a Property Tax Appraiser, and they must complete coursework on a continual basis to acquire and maintain certification.
