Trial Set for Sheridan Woman Charged With Selling LSD
A three-day jury trial in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan is set for June 28 for 39-year-old Heather Mullinix of Sheridan. At an arraignment hearing this week in District Court, Mullinix pleaded “not guilty” to the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver- LSD; Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance- LSD; Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance- Amphetamine, and Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance- Marijuana. District Court Judge John Fenn scheduled a pretrial conference for May 20 at 9:30 am and continued Mullinix’s bond under the same terms and conditions that were previously set in Circuit Court.
Also from District Court this week, 34-year-old Kendra Lenz was sentenced for the charge of Child Endangerment. Judge Fenn accepted the terms of the plea agreement reached with the State and sentenced Lenz to 18 to 36 months in prison, suspended in lieu of a split-sentence of 86 days in jail and three years of supervised probation. Lenz was given 86 days of credit for time served and ordered to pay $825 in various costs and attorney fees.
