Pat BlairThe three finalists for the position of superintendent of Sheridan County School District 2 answered four questions and talked a little about themselves Tuesday night in a community meeting hosted by the school district.
Scott Stults, Priscilla Hopkins and Teresa Rensch had an opportunity to share their thoughts on what they would do if chosen by the district’s trustees.
Among questions posed was what they would do to ensure the continued success of District 2 and help the district reach new heights. Stults said he would continue doing what the district is doing already.
Stults said that has to continue, and will continue through his support
Rensch said the question is one she always asks herself.
She said her job as superintendent would be to continue listening and learning and put the pieces and resources in place to allow the success to continue.
Hopkins said to continue the district’s success means to continue the systems and structures that are working well.
Those who attended the forum either in-person or online were asked to provide feedback through a survey that’s on the school district’s website at www.scsd2.com.
The new superintendent will replace Superintendent Craig Dougherty, who has resigned that position effective June 30.
