Property Destruction Sentencing

Last year on May 23, Cory Gagner was arrested and charged with Felony Property Destruction and Defacement for “keying” a vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Sheridan. The damage to the vehicle was estimated at over $1,400. District Court Judge John Fenn sentenced Gagner to 2 to 4 years in prison, suspended, in lieu of two years of supervised probation. Gagner was ordered to pay $310 in various court costs and fees and $1,425 in restitution. He must pay the restitution in full within the next four months. Gagner is currently serving a 60 day jail sentence in the Sheridan County Detention Center for a DUI he previously pleaded guilty to in Circuit Court.
