Johnson County Public Health’s Robin King, during the EOC Briefing this week, talked about a mass vaccination clinic that will be happening next month in Buffalo.
The clinic is for those that received their first vaccination in January to get their required second dose.
It will be staged in both gyms at the civic center to allow for social distancing.
King also gave the latest information on COVID-19 in the county, saying cumulatively since the pandemic began last year, there have been 343 lab confirmed cases and 216 probable cases, with eight deaths.
Currently there are 30 active cases in Johnson County, which is double the number of cases from last week, attributed to an uptick in cases from gatherings during the recent holiday season, according to discussions at the briefing.
