Camino, Madsen Sworn as Buffalo City Council Members

John Camino and Scott Madsen were sworn into their positions on the Buffalo City Council during a ceremony Tuesday evening at the city council meeting.

Madsen was reelected to his seat on the council, and Camino was voted in to replace outgoing councilman Travis Lawrence.

After the meeting, Camino spoke to the media about becoming part of the city council.

Also approved by the council were the Mayor’s appointments of Wes Haskins for vice-mayor; Ben Kirven for city attorney; Jason Carder for police chief; Julie Silbernagel as clerk/treasurer; Mary Hupy for municipal judge and Paul Jarvis as the alternate; Clarence “Gomer” Gammon for fire chief; Larry Joubert as safety director; and Terry Asay as the building inspector.
