Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Jan. 6, 1921.

Sheridan’s Carnegie Library issued approximately four books per capita during 1920, according to the report issued by Mrs. Florence S. Marshall, librarian.

Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Brooks entertained the members of the Book Review Club in one of the most enjoyable parties of the new year last night.

A large class of candidates will be presented tonight for initiation in the local Elks Lodge 520.

G. M. Shaffer announced today that he has purchased the half interest of L. C. Hill in the City Cleaning and Dyeing Company at 43 South Main street. Mr. Shaffer now has complete ownership of the business.
