A Look Back in Time: December 27, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Dec. 27, 1920.

A quiet, impressive wedding took place at the Spear residence on Wyoming avenue at 3 o’clock this afternoon. Miss Edna M. Heater and Edgar A. Anderson, both of Gillette, were united in marriage.

A. J. Butterfield of Banner is in Sheridan today.

An ordinance providing appropriations of just under $109,000 was read and approved at today’s meeting of the city council.

Bedroom slippers are $2.48 a pair at Reed’s.

Miss Philena Reeder, who has spent the past several months in Iowa and Nebraska, is visiting with her mother, Mrs. Maggie M. Reeder, and sister, Mrs. C. W. Young, in Sheridan.
