New Style Trash Cans Being Delivered to Buffalo Homes

Buffalo’s City Works Director Les Hook recently spoke to the city council concerning the trash cans for curbside pickup.

Hook said city crews are currently placing new cans in some residential neighborhoods and will continue to do so throughout the winter.

He then asked the council for their opinion about curbside pickup in other parts of the city.

No decision was made by the council concerning curbside pickup in the northwest section of the city, but discussions are expected to continue.

Hook also gave an update on the Buffalo Wells Project, saying there are conceptual drawings completed for the pipeline which include engineers’ estimates for the cost of that portion of the project.

Hook said he would be getting the information to the council members for their review.
