JCHC Staff Talks COVID Concerns Over Holidays

The recent increase in COVID-19 cases in the state and in Johnson County have staff at the Johnson County Healthcare Center concerned about possibly being overwhelmed with patients, especially with gatherings for the holidays.
Haley Odenbach, ER Manager at the JCHC, gave a healthcare worker’s perspective during a recent interview.
With the increase in COVID cases, it may be a good idea not to have gatherings this year, to help slow the spread, and to not inundate healthcare facilities with patients.
