A Look Back in Time: December 15, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Dec. 15, 1920.

Word has been received in the Burlington offices in Sheridan that George W. Holdredge, long-time general manager of the C.B. & Q. Railroad, has resigned.

Professor C. R. Sheldon of Billings, known as the “hen wizard,” will address the Sheridan County Poultry Association tonight.

The ladies of the Order of the Eastern Star entertained the Shriners at an elaborate dinner in the banquet room of the First Congregational church last night.

Children’s boxed Christmas handkerchiefs are 25 cents at Reed’s. Also at Reed’s, kimonas are priced from $2.48 to $6.50.
