Johnson County EOC Gives COVID Update at Tuesday Briefing
The Johnson County COVID-19 Emergency Operations Center held their weekly briefing Tuesday morning to give the media updates on the latest information on the virus within the county.
Robin King, with Johnson County Public Health, said there were 72 new cases in the county last week, which is a “pretty big caseload” for the county.
New contact tracers have been added, and they have been busy during the past week.
Monday saw a significant uptick in cases.
King encouraged everyone in the community to continue wearing masks, to continue social distancing, and to wash their hands regularly during the Thanksgiving weekend so we don’t see another spike in COVID-19 cases afterwards.
We will have the update from the Johnson County Healthcare Center tomorrow.
