While the number of Americans traveling for Thanksgiving this year will undoubtedly be lower than the norm due to the pandemic, there will still be many that will be travelling to see family. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
Airline travel for Thanksgiving is expected to be half its normal number and officials with AAA anticipate a lot of holiday travelers will do so by vehicle this year. Matthew Conde with AAA says that travelers need to be aware of any possible changes along their route.
Conde said AAA anticipates that due to the pandemic, travel volume will most likely be down by as much as 10 percent this Thanksgiving.
