DOH Director: ‘COVID Spike is Coming From All Aspects of Our Communities’

During a recent media conference with Governor Mark Gordon on the COVID-19 crisis, Wyoming Department of Health Director Mike Ceballos was asked about the recent surge in cases and if they’ve been able to pinpoint areas of where the spikes are occurring.
Ceballos addressed the issue of asymptomatic patients that are unknowingly spreading the disease.
The Wyoming Department of Health reported Wednesday that there were 210 hospitalizations in the State due to COVID-19. 210 hospitalizations is an all-time high and breaks the previous record of 204, which was set Tuesday. COVID-19 hospitalizations have more than tripled over the past month in Wyoming. According to hospital data from the Department of Health, there are no ICU beds available at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette and at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center.

It was reported on ABC news yesterday (Wednesday) by David Muir on national TV that Wyoming has the highest Covid positivity rate in the nation at just over 90%…that’s bad for potential tourism and that doesn’t bode well for the general health and well being of the local Sheridan population…especially when you consider the regular flu season has just started

If you look at the resent spike, the latest ‘surge’ came right after the summer tourist season. Perhaps thats where the problem lies: tourist season.

They only want us held in custody in our own homes…making them prisons and putting us all in solitary confinement!! Watch…next church will be illegal, you can only shop online, and you’ll be forced to wear masks in your own home….WHERE will their overreach end??!! When will we finally put our collective foot down and say enough is enough??!!

It is beyond belief that residents are fighting this. We have the “proud” status of being one of the top hot spots in the nation for COVID-19…Well done everyone! I hope the results are worth not wearing a mask or social distancing, plus the possibility of carrying it home to your loved ones! Think about it…your NOT wearing a mask forfeits my right to live a healthy life. That’s what I call a sentence of wrongful negligence!

Ive yet to read a study demonstrating the effectiveness of wearing masks to fight covid, or which type of mask would be the most effective. I have read a Danish study stating that masks dont really work with regards to covid. In Clark county NV, one can download an app where you can report covid violations to the authorities. Is that the future we want?
