The Sheridan City Council at their regularly scheduled business meeting Monday night approved a resolution for the Cloud Peak Ranch 22nd filing, which subdivides 11.6 acres into two lots for the properties located at the southeast corner of 5th Street and the drive to Black Tooth Park. In a separate, but related matter, the Council gave their approval of the dedication of public right-of-way adjacent to Blacktooth Park.

The Council also received an update from City Administrator Stu McRae on the proposed public health order signed by Sheridan County Health Officer Dr. Ian Hunter, that would require all adults within Sheridan County, including the City of Sheridan, to wear face coverings in certain places open to the public, with exceptions.

The public health order request must be reviewed by Wyoming Attorney General Bridget Hill and signed by State Health Officer Dr. Alexia Harrist to take effect. If the request for the mask order is approved by Dr. Harrist, it would go into effect Wednesday, and remain in effect until January 4 of next year.  We’ll have more from the Council meeting in future stories.

We the people arent smart enough to make our own decisions. Are the health officials citing a C(t) cycles standard? Are they citing their programs false positive rate? Are they citing the number of retests in their daily siterep cases?

The legal ability in the constitution to make this a law is put in place for emergencies. 99% survival rate is not an emergency and this is an abuse of power, and flat out tyranny.

if you don’t want to obey a public health order or wear a mask in public…just stay in your own home…or risk being fined

One could also say that about being exposed to the virus with 99.5 percent survival rate.
