Governor Gordon: ‘This is Not a Game, This is a Serious Challenge’

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon addressed the dramatic rise in COVID-19 cases in the state during a media briefing Friday in Cheyenne. Gordon said this is not a game, this is a serious challenge to Wyoming, and the country.

Gordon said hospitals in the region are overwhelmed and it’s affecting hospital capacity in Wyoming.

Governor Gordon said now more than ever, Wyoming citizens need to act responsibly.

Gordon said the current public health orders have been extended by a week, and that they will be taking a very serious look at adding new restrictions to the health orders in response to the current spike in cases.
