Sheridan Commission Awards Contract for Fuel Treatment Project
Sheridan County’s Commission has awarded a contract for the TP/Folly Fuels Treatment Project, which will clean up brush, dead, downed wood materials and small trees from a 47-acre parcel near Story.
County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller explains further.
Funding for the project will come from the State Forestry Division for fuels mitigation projects.
The project is expected to get underway next summer and must be completed by October 30th, 2022.
