Sheridan Woman Arraigned on Multiple Drug Charges
A 30-year-old Sheridan woman was arraigned Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan for three felony drug distribution charges. Meagan Crone entered “not guilty” pleas to the charges of Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance to a Minor- Marijuana, Delivery of a Controlled Substance to a Juvenile- Marijuana, and Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance- Marijuana. The alleged crimes occurred between October 3rd and 4th of this year and involved Crone selling Marijuana to a 16-year-old individual.
District Court Judge John Fenn initially set the three day trial for March 15 of next year, however, a conflict with defense attorney Anna Malmberg’s schedule and an issue with Crone’s pregnancy due date prompted Judge Fenn to remove the trial date from the court calendar. A new trial date will be set by the Court in the near future. If convicted on all three counts, Crone faces up to 40 years in prison and fines of up to $30,000.
