JCHC CEO: Projects Moving Forward, New Equipment Purchased

During the weekly Johnson County COVID-19 EOC media briefing earlier this week, JCHC CEO Sean McCallister reported that the projects paid for with federal funding through the State Loan and Investments Board are moving forward with expected completion by the end of the year.

Additionally, the hospital board approved the purchase of an ultra low temperature freezer to store vaccine for COVID-19 in the future.

The facility isn’t sure when or how much vaccine they will receive, but McCallister said they need to be prepared for when it is received.
