Buffalo’s Monster March Successful Even With COVID Concerns
Although there was no “official” tally, the numbers of kids participating in this year’s Monster March in Buffalo was estimated to be between 700 and 800 kids, according to Buffalo Chamber of Commerce Interim Director Meseret Tegenu, who said the evening was fun and well attended.
This year there were some changes in place, suggested by County Health Officer Dr. Mark Schueler, in which he asked marchers and parents to wear masks and those giving candy to wear masks and gloves due to concerns over COVID-19.
Tegenu said most complied.
