Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Oct. 8, 1920.

H. J. Thomas, agricultural agent of Sheridan county, has given personal approval of the C.B.&Q, special agricultural and “better farming” train which comes through this section of the country. The schedule calls for the train to stop in Clearmont and Ulm on Oct. 15 and make a two days’ stay in Sheridan on Oct. 16 and 17.

Enormous crowds continue to enjoy the world series baseball game today as it’s played on The Enterprise’s big electric score board. There will be no game tomorrow while the teams are traveling.

Women’s silk dresses are offered at the bargain price of $16.95 at Sheridan’s Golden Rule store.
