Pat BlairNow here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Oct. 5, 1920.
With the blowing of the factory whistle early this morning, the Holly Sugar Corporation began its sixth season in Sheridan with 200 people employed to refine the largest beet harvest in its history here.
The latest models of Hudson and Essex cars are at the Reo Garage, 306 North Main street in Sheridan. The 7-passenger Hudson Touring Car and 4-passenger Hudson speedster are priced at $2,700.
Central Hall is undergoing a complete renovation in preparation for the staging of a grand opening ball this coming Saturday. W. S. Sopris has assumed complete management of the amusement and dance location.
