Lake DeSmet Board to Discuss Shoreline Regulations

Shoreline Regulations will be the main topic of discussion at Wednesday’s Lake DeSmet Advisory Board special meeting.

Shoreline regulations were discussed at a recent county commission meeting, where Commission Chair Bill Novotny explained the commission has been contacted by landowners there who want to make changes to their properties adjacent to the shoreline but are not allowed to do so under the current regulations.

Discussions and review of the regulations are expected to happen at Wednesday’s

special meeting which will be at 3pm in the Johnson County Road and Bridge Meeting Room I.
