Pat BlairNow here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Sept. 30, 1920.
Fire gutted the upper part of a home on Harrison street tonight. City firefighters summoned to the scene at about 9 o’clock succeeded in saving the lower floor of the residence and preventing spread of the flames.
Clair A. Hayes of Sheridan has enlisted in the United States Naval service and will be transferred to Naval Training Station in San Francisco, California, for instruction.
Mrs. L. C. Booth hosted a very lovely one o’clock luncheon today. The honor guest was her sister, who is visiting from St. Joseph, Missouri. After luncheon, the remainder of the afternoon was spent playing auction bridge.
John M. Maxwell of Clearmont arrived in Sheridan today.
