Aaron PalmerThe City of Buffalo has a new Ordinance pertaining to minors and the sale and possession of tobacco products, and the Johnson County Prevention Council discussed the adoption of the rule during their recent meeting.
Community Prevention Specialist Bill Hawley said he is happy to see the Ordinance put in place, and discussed it further with the prevention council.
Hawley said the new Ordinance will hopefully keep people from experimenting with tobacco products until they are older, and statistics show that the longer someone waits to experiment with these types of products, the chances are they won’t try them at all.
“Hopefully this will help save lives,” he said.
