A Look Back in Time: Sept. 25, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Sept. 25, 1920.

Police have been asked to search for the party or parties who on the night of Sept. 15 ransacked an automobile belonging to George M. Lewis of Soldier Creek. Owing to a break-down, the vehicle had been abandoned for the night six miles out of Sheridan.

Ed Dana has announced he will ship 35 carloads of cattle from his Pass Creek ranch to eastern markets tomorrow afternoon.

With over 120 birds entered, Sheridan county poultry fanciers made practically a clean sweep in every class of competition during the Midland Empire fair at Billings that ended yesterday.
