Buffalo Council Accepts CARES Act Funding

The Buffalo City Council, during their regular meeting Tuesday afternoon, approved and accepted a Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act grant funding award from the State Loan and Investments Board (SLIB).

Mayor Shane Schrader said the funding is to help the city with extra expenses incurred during the COVID-19 crisis, and explained more about where the funding will be used.

The grant award is for up to $767,290 for expenses incurred from April 1st through December 15th of this year.
