Wyoming State Health Officer Dr. Alexia Harrist at a news conference this week, discussed the topic of K-12 schools opening back up amid the pandemic. Dr. Harrist said that schools have not been immune to the virus.

Dr. Harrist said we will continue to identify cases in schools but continuing to follow public health recommendations throughout communities, gives our students the best chance to be successful. She added that it’s important to remember that children can be exposed to the virus outside of school as well.

    There was an obituary that said the gentleman died by COVID. When will that one be recorded as a death? Is our county being transparent in the reporting of deaths by COVID?
