Sheridan College will premiere a Virtual Commencement Ceremony on Friday, September 18 at 6 pm. According to a Sheridan College news release, all students who completed degrees or certificates following the fall 2019 and spring and summer 2020 semesters will be honored during the ceremony. Graduation ceremonies typically held in May were postponed by the college due to the pandemic.

College President Dr. Walt Tribley said they are honored to be able to present the ceremony to honor Sheridan College students who completed degrees or certificates this year. Graduates and their friends and family are invited to watch the ceremony online on Facebook. The link to attend is located on the Sheridan College Facebook page. The video will also be available on the college’s website. Dr. Tribley said while we certainly wish we could hold an in-person ceremony, we hope graduates and their family and friends will take this opportunity to come together on social media to celebrate their achievements.

Sheridan College will mail every graduate a commemorative program, their diploma, a keepsake notebook and a letter prior to the event. The college estimates that about 450 graduates will be honored during the ceremony.
