Johnson County Accepts TANF Grant Funds

Johnson County’s Commissioners have approved and accepted an agreement with the Wyoming Department of Family Services for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, or TANF Grant funding.

County Attorney Tucker Ruby said the agreement runs from October 1^st, 2020 through September 30^th, 2021, and explained the agreement further.

The distribution of the funding is $20,500 to Compass Center for Families, $16,200 for the Boys and Girls Club of the Bighorns, and $12,950 for the Buffalo Children’s Center.

The remaining $2,350 will go to the county for administration of the grant.
