Sheridan County Approves Legal Rep Contract

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the State of Wyoming and Sheridan County for legal representation of children in various scenarios has been approved through 2022.

The Wyoming Office of Guardian ad Litem will provide legal representation in child protection cases, children in need of supervision cases, deliquency actions, and termination of parental rights cases in Sheridan County.

Sheridan County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller spoke on behalf on Clerk of District Court Rene Botton.

The commission approved the MOU contingent upon the minor change being approved by the state.
