Smoke from the wildfires in California and the west continues to fill the skies of northeast Wyoming, affecting the air quality. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Air quality has been compromised due to the wildfire smoke that’s been in the area since last week. Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality Air Quality District Engineer Tanner Shatto says that the fine particles in wildfire smoke can impact your health.

Those most at risk from the smoke include people with asthma, heart or lung disease, older adults, and children. Outdoor activities should be limited, especially any type of prolonged vigorous activity. Shatto said that there are resources available online that list the air quality data for Wyoming and show exactly where the smoke is originating from. Those sites can be found below:
