Sheridan Commission OKs Easement Vacation

An easement vacation was brought before the Sheridan County Commission for their approval this week, after a vote in favor of approval by the Planning & Zoning Commission.

The 30-foot easement straddles a lot line between lots 3 and 4 in the Spring Canyon Subdivision.

County Planner Mark Reid discussed the proposed easement vacation with the commission at their Tuesday meeting.

The purpose of the vacation, according to the application, is to remove the easement as it bisects the applicant’s property and is also encroached by a garage on the property.

The commission approved the easement vacation.
