JCSD1 Board Approves Employment Recommendations

The Johnson County School Board approved the employment recommendations, as well as activity sponsors for the upcoming 2020-21 school year during their August meeting Monday night.

Those approved for employment to various positions were Tony Rouse, Ron Glassock, Garrett Kremers, Melissa Ramey, Shelley Armstrong, Daniel Stewart, Richard Jarvis, Karen Johnson, Andrew Borgialli, Joyce Fried, and Sophia Juarez.


Also approved was the immediate resignation of Ron Glassock as assitant football coach for Clear Creek Middle School.

Employment Recommendations:

Tony Rouse – Asst. Girls Basketball Coach, Kaycee High School (replaces Laura Pierson).

Ron Glassock – Asst. Football Coach, Buffalo High School (replaces Jared Anderson).

Garrett Kremers – Asst. Football Coach, Clear Creek Middle School (replaces Ron Glassock).

Melissa Ramey – Life Skills Para, Meadowlark Elementary.

Shelley Armstrong – 4th grade Special Education, Cloud Peak Elementary

(postponed retirement to help us as other candidates were not a good fit).

Daniel Stewart – Bus Route Driver, District.

Richard Jarvis – Part-time Custodian.

Karen Johnson – Special Education Teacher, Meadowlark Elementary.

Andrew Borgialli- .5 New West Instructor (he is already .5 business at BHS…this would make him full time).

Joyce Fried – K-5 SEE’s Para, MDLK & CPES (replaces Eric Anson).

Sophia Juarez – Food Service I, Cloud Peak Elementary (replaces Janet Bauer).

Resignation:

Ron Glassock – Asst. Football Coach, Clear Creek Middle School (effective immediately).
