Council Passes City Code Amendment First Reading

Buffalo’s City Council has passed on first reading an amendment to city code that pertains to the sale of tobacco and electronic cigarettes to minors.

Mayor Shane Schrader explained the reason for the change to city

code.

The change will make city code in compliance with state law once the Ordinance has three readings.

Pehringer said the cost of the project for 2022 works out to be an estimated $5,243 per mile for the chemical treatment.
