O’Hearn Sworn In to Represent House District 59
According to the Wyoming Legislative Service Office, Kevin O’Hearn of Casper was sworn in as a member of the 65th Wyoming Legislature on Thursday in the House Chamber of the Wyoming State Capitol in Cheyenne. Wyoming Supreme Court Chief Justice Michael K. Davis administered the oath of office and Speaker of the House Steve Harshman presided over the ceremony.
Representative O’Hearn was joined by members of the Wyoming Legislature, legislative staff, and family members at the brief ceremony. Following the administration of the oath of office from Chief Justice Davis, Speaker Harshman and fellow legislators welcomed O’Hearn to the Wyoming Legislature.
O’Hearn addressed the well-wishers during the ceremony stating that he looked forward to serving the people of Wyoming.
O’Hearn was appointed by the Natrona County Commissioners to serve the residents of House District 59 on July 28 to fill the vacant seat left by former Representative Carl Loucks, who resigned July 6. Representative O’Hearn’s committee assignments are still pending.
