Sheridan Commissioners Update Board Memberships, Liaisons

During their recent meeting Sheridan County’s Commissioners ratified their updated list for board memberships and liaison positions.

Also ratified by the commission in their consent agenda was an annual compensation agreement between the county and the Univesity of Wyoming for the University Extension’s 4-H Youth Development Program.

The university will pay Stacy Buchholz, who holds that position $39,878 annually, while the county agrees to pay $21,696 to the University of Wyoming Extension.

A Special Use Permit was ratified by the county for use of lands on the Bighorn National Forest for construction, monitoring, and maintenance of single track, non-motorized trails in the Red Grade Trail System.

The commission also approved drafting a letter of support for Sheridan Memorial Hospital’s grant application to State Lands and Investments Board (SLIB), for an upgrade to their Reverse Isolation Room in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
