Buffalo Mayor Gives Thanks for Recent Congressional Tours

In the Oral/Written Comments section of the city council agenda during their last meeting, Mayor Shane Schrader thanked those responsible for bring the recent Wyoming County Commission Association’s (WCCA) Congressional Tour Initiative, but especially former City Attorney Dennis Kirven who shared his expertise on Tie Hack Reservoir.

Th Congressional Tours are an annual occurrence, rotating between the four areas of the state.

This year the focus was on Northeast Wyoming.

Congressional staffers are informed on issues of national significance and local impact, including energy development, natural resource management, public land stewardship, agriculture, wildlife conservation, recreation, and rural economies.
