Sheridan County Approves ‘Welcome Home Wyoming’ Program

The Sheridan County Commission has given consent for the Cheyenne Housing Authority to make the “Welcome Home Wyoming” program available to home buyers in Sheridan County.

County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller gave an overview of the program.

Greg Hancock, with the Cheyenne Housing Authority, explained in more detail what the program specifically does for home buyers.

Obermueller told the commission that she had checked with local lenders and this program doesn’t compete with what they offer, but is just another tool to help in the home buying process.
